Ingredients (Serves 8)

  • 300 gr. dried egg noodles, Vitasia
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil Vitasia
  • 600 gr. chicken breast, cut in narrow strips
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Vitasia
  • 1 tsp chili sauce Kania (optional)
  • 2 tbsp corn flour, Rivercote
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil Vita D’or
  • 2 red peppers, cut in thin slices
  • 300 gr. broccoli, boiled and cut into small pieces Green Grocer’s
  • 2 large fresh onions, cut in strips, lengthwise
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce Vitasia
  • Freshly ground black pepper, Kania

 

Method:

  1. Boil the pasta in a saucepan with hot water for 2-3 minutes until they are al dente or heat the egg noodles as per the instructions on the packet.
  2. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain again. Sprinkle some oil and stir well so they don’t stick.
  3. Heat the soy, chili and ginger. Then sprinkle the corn flour.
  4. Heat a wok and add the oil. Then add the chicken and sauté until it is well cooked.
  5. Add the red pepper and the onion and sauté for one minute.
  6. Then add the broccoli and sauté for 30 seconds.
  7. Stir the noodles, add the soy sauce and the freshly ground black pepper.
  8. Serve immediately.
